Do you have loads of beautiful webbing hanging around but don't have the appropriate sized hardware? Or is a 2" lobster clasp just too big for your bag? Here is a way to adapt any 1.25" or wider width webbing to 1" or 3/4" clasps using our 1" or 3/4" cork strapping. What you need: Approximately 2 yards of webbing (1.25" or wider) A slider that is the same width as your webbing A rectangle ring that is the same width as your webbing 2 lobster clasps (either 1" or 3/4" - same as your cork strapping) 12" of cork...

I am currently OBSESSED with cork piping! This isn't the piping that comes wrapped around a piece of cardboard sold in the bias tape section of your fabric store. This piping is made from the same cork fabric that you have come to love and has a narrow plastic tube inside. This tubing is stiffer than the regular cotton rope inside standard cotton piping, providing a base for structure in your bags.
